Jour de Triche is a mock app for a French patisserie, created as part of the Google UX Design Certificate. The app allows customers to pre-order pastries and reserve tables in a space that blends indulgence with elegance. A Brand & App for Cheat-Day Rituals

 

The goal: streamline weekend treat rituals with a luxurious, easy-to-use interface.

A concise brand guide outlining logo use, color, typography, and imagery to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Visual Identity & Packaging

The brand comes to life through thoughtful logo application, product packaging, and collateral that reflect Jour de Triche’s indulgent, Parisian-inspired experience. Every detail was designed to feel elevated, cohesive, and emotionally resonant.

Mobile & Web Experience

The mobile app focused on quick reordering, touch-friendly flows, and small-screen accessibility, while the website provided an immersive experience for browsing the menu, booking events, and learning about the patisserie’s brand story.

Website Features

The desktop experience was designed to reflect the charm and indulgence of the patisserie while offering a seamless user flow. Key features include a visually rich homepage, intuitive reservation system, pastry pre-order functionality, and a dedicated event section to promote special offerings like “Saturday Cheat Days.” The layout prioritizes elegant storytelling, streamlined navigation, and clear calls to action for both new and returning visitors.
